Select Putter
Is my Scotty Cameron Newport Studio Select 2.6 Putter Real?
I just ordered a SC Newport Studio Select 2.6 putter online and was wondering what the characteristics of a fake are? It has the grey head cover with the 3 Red dots on top with a tag on the inside saying 'made exclusively for Titleist'. It hasd the grip and the head wrapped in plastic, has a serial number engraved in the shaft just below the grip, has the sticker just under the serial number with a Red Crown and says made in America. I mean it looks exactly like the pictures on the SC website. Just wondering.......Thanks
You can email Titleist or Scotty Cameron, to verify whether it is real or not...just enter serial number. Most Scotty's are real...especially if you got it from a reputable vendor. If your buying a Cameron from, Hong Kong...not real! If your paying below $150...very questionable, but not unheard of.
I just got a counterfit, Callaway Ft-9 driver...always verify serial numbers. Lucky for me...the guy was also duped and refunded my money.
Buyer Beware!!!
