Which golf club iron shafts are best - graphite or steel?

I am about to buy a set of golf clubs for the first time and I have one of two sets in mind - one set has all graphite club shafts the other has shafts of steel irons and graphite drivers

My husband has both, but he prefers the graphite shaft ones, but it does depend on personal choice.
When you go to buy them you can test them out in the store, most golf shops have a practise part set aside.
Have a good practise and you will soon find out which ones you are most comfortable with.
