can a carb rebuild kit work if it was made by a differnt company than the acual carb?
im rebulding the carb from my 64 gmc half ton. the carb is a bendix and im having trouble finding a rebuild kit for it. will a holly or another companys kit work for the carb? i dont wanna have to get a new carburator
Yes you can as long as their are exactly the same (u need to tell ur auto parts store so they know, also u should put them side by side -if pissble- to make sure they are a perfect match).
However, there are certain brands (like the other guy said) that will ONLY accept their own gaskets as they have certain modifications that only their system has.
