Time for new shoes, suggestions?
I am an old 8 / 9 (53). Made mistake of going reg graphite. flex 2 years ago. Computer says steel Project X 5.5 stiff now or KBS. The question is on Adams CB2 vs I15, R9 vs Taylor now play X20 and hate, but the tree probably related. Also heard good things about Diablo MX300 and Forged. How about the comments. Already high ball flight, the names mean nothing to me about her performance without having to live on the driving range, thats for you young guys. Muzzuno always gets high marks. I played in my blades 20 and 30, then got lazy and old. Tech news seems almost like a cross between the blade and cast iron. No one has played the CB2 Adams?
High ball flight is probably due to your current trees, remember they are the engine of the club. Honestly, you really can not go wrong with a lot of irons on the market. I suggest to find three that really get your attention, especially at, and demonstrations each with different trees (if possible). Do not get caught in cast iron vs. wrought as the others can say is all personal preference on behavior (and this comes from someone who Mizuno MP-58 plays ... which are great by the way). You can also mention the new technology seemed like a cross between the blade and cast ... I'm not sure what you mean by that. Blade is a style, like the blade vs cavity and cast iron is that it is made, cast vs forged. New clubs make you feel a bit like false, then the argument is irrelevant and feel down to how you feel. If you are a consistent ball striker then a club in the cavity plate or the bag should feel beautiful. If you do not hit a shot thin or fat a few times a turn, it may be advantageous to look at something more indulgent (MX-300 vs I15s) Good luck.
