Graphite Shafts
steel or graphite shafts?
Well I am going to ask for some new irons from the family as a whole for my b day. I am using graphite now but nothing great. I was looking at the g10 set and on tgw on the product tour it says that the steel shafts have more control and consistency and the graphite has a lower shot with less spin. does that mean it will be harder for me to convert my check rolls with the graphite? I will be using stiff as I would rather sacrifice distance for accuracy. Plus I have a fairly strong swing and my driver now (the only separate shaft in my bag) is a regular and it's also the only club that has a slice. So Do I go with graphite or steel? and will a stiff graphite be too stiff?
Everyone uses the terms and I am wondering how many actually know how to use the clubs? That goes for the aficionados of both the steel and the graphite shafts. The whole story boils down to one thing. The talent of the mechanic determines the results from the tools.
