What is the best aldila golf shaft for a 15ish handicapper?
I've used several different aldila shafts and alot of my better golfer friends use them so I was thinking that is probably what I would buy, but I don't know which one is geared more for my playing style. My swing speed is somewhere between 90 and 100. Also I'd really like to spend less than $100 if possible. Any suggestions will be much appreciated!
It's all based off of what YOU need, not what your buddies need. Do you have a fast tempo, slow tempo, or in between? Do you mind a "boardy" feel, a whippy feel, or somewhere in between? Is there a ball flight tendency you always fight? There's a lot more to it than just swing speed...
Do you REALLY need an Aldila? What about a Fujikura, or a Graphite Design, or a New Image, etc, etc? There are PLENTY of very good shafts under $100. Go see a fitter and let him/her help you. It's better than making a decision based off what others use.
